The Eight
Objectives of CCPL's
Community Kids Ministry
In
order to be a success we must understand what it
is we want to accomplish during the time each
child is a part of our ministry. We have
identified these eight objectives to guide us.
1. To fill children’s minds with the Word of God
so they can grow to think the way God thinks
(wisdom) and live the way God commanded
(obedience). One of our goals is that children
be in the habit of going to God’s Word on their
own every day.
2. To establish in children habits of godly
living as a daily lifestyle. These include
daily Bible study, being an active part of our
church, obedience to God and prayer.
3. To create a Christian community of children,
students and adults who enjoy life together as a
family and are committed to each other and to
Jesus Christ.
4. To help children build proper relationships
to the authorities in their lives. We support
the parents of our kids, recognizing our
commitment to their success.
5. To help children trust Christ as Savior, to
submit to Him, and to live as Christians at
home, at school, at play, or wherever they are.
We take children where they are spiritually and
walk them as far as they will allow us.
6. To help children grow from being
self-centered to becoming Christ-centered,
focusing on others rather than on themselves. We
want our kids to have servants’ hearts. Local
and world missions are a part of this.
7. To build Christian homes by encouraging
families and training them in their tasks.
8. To make each child’s experience safe, fun,
and profitable in the process of becoming
everything God has planned.
Every time, every class, every
program.
