Women in all walks of life

All Women Are Welcome

Our mission is to encourage women in all walks of life to glorify God, and to know Christ and His life-changing power. We do this through various opportunities that are designed to support women in their pursuit to make Christ known.

"that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ,"

Colossians 2:2

The study is "God Is in the Laundry Room" by Susan Senechal and is inspired by Jeremiah 29:13..."You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart." The author's "desire is that these studies will challenge you, whether you are a new Christian or a lifelong believer." "Lessons explore the original Greek and Hebrew words to help you gain a deeper understanding of the passages involved." She believes "God is ready and waiting to meet you... in the laundry room and in every place you spend your day." Please email the church office to sign up for the study by Friday, May 24th in case additional books need to be ordered. Books are $5

J. Vernon McGee wrote of The Book of Ruth: This little book "comes down to our level and tells the commonplace story of a couple who love each other. They were ordinary folk, average folk, and their love story is a mirror in which we can see the divine love of the Savior for you and me." Learn more of God's redemptive love by joining us Tuesday afternoons for this 5 week study.

Joy Manda has chosen a study in Corinthians. We will start with First Corinthians and work our way through Second Corinthians too. In 1 Corinthians Paul deals with many issues and sins that the church is dealing with head on. Some issues were even causing divisions within the church. Wow, this is good stuff! In Second Corinthians the people seem more unified, but they have false teachers still getting them off track Do we listen to and follow Godly leaders? Paul touches on all of these topics. As always we will be using the Bible as our main text, but I have found a set of Max Lucado’s Life Lessons books on 1&2 Corinthians that we will also use. The books go through Corinthians methodically with some good applications, but it’s not verse by verse, so we will draw in other information as we see fit. Please note, there will not be ‘homework’– we will work through the lessons as a group. If you don’t sign up or can’t come every week, you are still welcome to join us when you can, each week will stand on its own.

This study will run for 7 weeks. “WE SAVED YOU A SEAT Finding and Keeping Lasting Friendships” by Lisa-Jo Baker. In this 7-session Bible study, Lisa-Jo Baker and friends from (in)courage explore our relationship with Jesus as the ultimate model for authentic friendship. Nothing shapes us like the impact of a friend. — it’s how Jesus radically and intimately connects with us. So instead of chasing perfection, overcome your fear of being known and find the courage to connect. After this 7 week study is over, we will have a fellowship night and then we are starting an Acts study! We will study the book itself, with other intermittent life lessons and within the church and how we act as well. We will study the women in Acts. It will start a whole 2 year study on the book of Acts with the emphasis on A.C.T.S (Accountability, Christ, Together, Serving)

REVELATION is our course of study. This beautiful study & book ends with the great promise of Jesus return to take all believers to their final residence of eternity in heaven. It is filled with thrills, excitement and worship like we will never experience while here on this earth. Come as we share “ the happily ever after ending” of God’s Word. All is good news unless the choice is made not to follow Him. John’s view from heaven is so overwhelming that he must take a break from writing a few times before he can continue. Come join us as God gives us a glimpse of what the future holds. We will be meeting in the parlor, next to the kitchen. Invite the young and old. God’s Word is for everybody. Billie Arny & Maureen Wilson will be teaching this study.
